Last week it was doing that across the entire scanner bed. I let it rest for two weeks and I took it out today, and only half of it was experiencing this lovely glitch. Because I draw Goth Camp on half of a 8.5" x 11" piece of paper though, even with half of my scanner thinking it's 1978, I can scan next week's comic. You guys should thank your lucky stars that I'm in cahoots with the computer graphics teacher at school, or you guys would have been out of luck for a couple of weeks! I need to figure out how to set up a Paypal account to accept donations from my readership. You guys should be able to donate to buy me a new scanner. I'm going to already have to buy a new computer for college (can't take the family machine), and a webcam so that I can still see George (who is going to UC Santa Barbara), plus an optical mouse, and PhotoShop and Illustrator CS Edition, and Flash and Dreamweaver MX, and a couple twim sheet sets because right now I have a futon... By the way, you guys, I'm going to be attending Chapman University in the fall and majoring in Graphic Design!! Cowabunga, dude! XD Anyway, I hope you enjoy the strip this week, and because half of my scanner does in fact love me I'll talk to you next week here at Goth Camp!! -MelMel |
