Wow, I didn't know applying for college would be such an intense process. The hard copies of the applications are so confusing. I messed up on the address box, instead putting my address on the city line. *doofus* I'm just going to apply online, I can fix my mistakes there; nothing too permanent. These are the essays we have to write about, one 600 words, and the other two 200 words. 1) Academic Preparation: How have you taken advantage of the educational opportunities you have had to prepare for college? 2) Tell us about a talent, experience, contribution or personal quality you will brig to the University of California. 3) Is there anything you would like us to know about you or your academic record that you have not had the opportunity to describe elsewhere in this application? I'm so scared at the moment that I won't get into UCLA (my dream school) at all. A 3.8 g.p.a. is probably not going to cut it for such a prestigious university, but they have a Design / Media Arts major that I'm so interested in. Aw shucks, maybe I'll just go to Cal State Fullerton. I'm writing about this comic and the work I've done here in one of my essays. I'm deciding between whether it should be in Question 2 or Question 3 and whether it should be 600 words where I can mention the social commentary my comic strip is making on a weekly basis, or 200 words and just mention the work I've done with it and my passion for the graphic design industry.
